Temporary Covid-19 Cancellation Policies

Term cancellation or interruption due to Covid-19

In case of term interruption due to another covid-19 outbreak or any other related circumstance:

Housing costs will be 100% non-refundable within 45 days of the program orientation date
Tuition will be semi-refundable up to 15 days before the orientation date.

WINTER 2022

If a student’s balance payment is not paid by November 17th, ALBA will assume the student is not going to attend Winter term 2022. ALBA will not secure the student’s housing and he/she will be taken off of the enrollment.
As of November 18th, the housing portion of the program cost ($2,300) becomes partially or fully non-refundable due to commitment costs with securing housing.
If a student chooses to find and secure their own housing, they must communicate that to ALBA by November 17th. Otherwise, ALBA will assume they are expecting ALBA to find them accommodation and use the housing portion of their program cost to secure their housing.
Students assume all costs associated with term interruption including travel expenses and/or additional accommodation due to Covid-19 or any other reason. In the event of term interruption, classes will be available online, but there will be no refunds or only partial refunds for the term.
ALBA STRONGLY RECOMMENDS STUDENTS READ AND UNDERSTAND WHAT THE INSURANCE PROVIDED BY ALBA OR THEIR HOME INSTITUTION COVERS AND CONSIDER CONTRACTING ADDITIONAL INSURANCE THAT WILL COVER ADDITIONAL EXPENSES AND/OR PROGRAM REIMBURSEMENT.

For Spring 2022 term, the deadline date to be refunded/confirm participation in the Spring 2022 program will be February 15th. Meaning that on February 16th the housing portion of the program cost becomes partially or fully non-refundable.

For Summer 2022 term, the deadline date to be refunded/confirm participation in the Summer 2022 program will be May 15th. Meaning that on May 16th the housing portion of the program cost becomes partially or fully non-refundable.

For Fall 2022 term, the deadline date to be refunded/confirm participation in the Fall 2022 program will be August 15th. Meaning that on August 16th the housing portion of the program cost becomes partially or fully non-refundable.
