Serves: 4 people

Ingredients:

  • 8 slices of country style bread or baguette (not sliced loaf bread!)
  • 2 tomatoes
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove cut in half. Fingers get less garlicy if peel is left on
  • Salt (optional)

Preparation:

  1. Toast the slices of bread in the toaster.
  2. Rub the cut garlic clove on the bread.
  3. Cut the tomato in half and rub over the slice of bread.
  4. Drizzle a little olive oil and add a dash of salt.
